ABOUT OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

This program offers immersive experiences across various facets of the entertainment industry, providing interns with hands-on learning and mentorship opportunities. Interns will contribute to real projects and gain valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of a dynamic entertainment company.

Program Overview:

• Duration: Semester-based
• Compensation: College Credit only
• Location: Remote and/or hybrid (near Atlanta, GA or New York)
• Application Period: Spring and Fall
• Eligibility: Current College Student and Recent Graduates

OUR INTERNSHIP TRACKS

1. Music Internship:
Focus: Provides exposure to artist management, music production, publishing, and promotion.

Responsibilities (may include):

• Assisting with artist relations and communication.
• Supporting marketing campaigns for music releases.
• Conducting market research and analyzing music trends.
• Contributing to the development of artist bios and press kits.
• Shadowing music producers and engineers during recording sessions.
• Learning about music licensing and copyright procedures.
• Assisting with the organization and execution of music events.​ ​

Ideal Candidate: Passion for music, strong organizational skills, knowledge of the music industry, proficiency in music software (e.g., Ableton, Logic) a plus.

​2. Marketing Internship:
Focus: Develops skills in digital marketing, social media management, branding, and public relations within the entertainment context.

Responsibilities (may include):

• Creating and scheduling social media content.
• Monitoring social media channels and engaging with followers.
• Assisting with the development of marketing strategies for various projects.
• Conducting market research and analyzing campaign performance.
• Drafting press releases and media kits.
• Contributing to the creation of marketing materials (e.g., website content, email newsletters).
• Learning about SEO and SEM best practices.​​

Ideal Candidate: Strong communication and writing skills, creative mindset, experience with social media platforms, familiarity with marketing tools and analytics.

3. TV/Production Internship:
Focus: Offers hands-on experience in the various stages of television and video production, from pre-production to post-production.

Responsibilities (may include):

• Assisting with scriptwriting and storyboarding.
• Supporting production crews on set.
• Learning about camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
• Assisting with video editing and post-production tasks.
• Conducting research for documentaries or other video projects.
• Organizing and managing production logistics.
• Shadowing producers, directors, and editors.​​

Ideal Candidate: Passion for film and television, strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve).

4. Merchandise Internship:
Focus: Provides insight into the development, production, and marketing of merchandise related to artists, TV shows, and other entertainment properties.

• Assisting with the design and development of merchandise concepts.
• Researching and sourcing merchandise suppliers.
• Managing inventory and order fulfillment.
• Creating marketing materials for merchandise sales.
• Analyzing sales data and identifying trends.
• Working with e-commerce platforms.
• Learning about licensing and branding in the merchandise industry.​​

Ideal Candidate: Creative and detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, interest in fashion and design, familiarity with e-commerce platforms.

APPLICATION PROCESS

The Sky's The Limit Entertainment internship application process consists of three stages:

1. Apply through Handshake: We’re excited to learn more about you. Up next, you’ll receive a link to our initial VideoAsk — a quick video-based introduction where you’ll answer a few key questions. This helps us get a better sense of your personality, interests, and fit for the role.
It’s your moment to stand out, so be real, be creative, and show us what makes you passionate about working in the entertainment industry!

2. Interview Scheduling: Once you complete the initial VideoAsk screening, you'll move forward to the interview stage. You’ll receive a second VideoAsk link — this time to schedule your interview and answer a few final questions to help us prepare. You’ll also have the chance to upload your resume directly if you haven’t already. This streamlined process helps us keep everything in one place and ensures your interview is tailored to you!

3. Interview Process: Selected candidates will be invited to participate in a virtual interview with our team. This is your opportunity to further showcase your qualifications, discuss your experiences in more detail, and ask us questions about the internship program and Sky's The Limit Entertainment. We want to learn more about your passion, your work ethic, and your fit within our company culture.

PLEASE NOTE: If we have an urgency to hire someone quickly we will skip the 1st stage all together and start with the application form stage. Also, the design assignment will be optional for those who provide a link to their portfolio either on their resume or LinkedIn page.
